Keelboat Courses
Our main goal in the cruiser courses is to teach you how to be safe on the water. The school teaches both theory and practical –emphasising the hands on experience actually on the boats, with the theory explained in an easy and fun kind of way.
From our years of experience we have developed 4 different types of courses, from a basic course through to an offshore cruising course, carefully training the student at their own pace so that they become completely autonomous.
The courses take place in all three bases, depending on the course.
Windsurf Courses
Windsurfers love Dervio. Sail boards skim across the waves pushed by a wind and a passion for a sport that is different and exciting every time you do it. Orza organises wind surf courses for 2 different levels, with all the same organisational planning that goes into all our other courses. Teaching methods, created to ensure autonomy from the first time out on the board, are FIV ( Federazione Italiana Vela) approved. Right from the first phase of general learning, with theory lessons and exercises on the simulator in the water, you’re onto the water perfecting your skills on the fun board.
And if you think windsurfing is just for " others" and that you would never be able to stay on top of a board...this is really the course for you. Theory lessons, try outs on the simulator and practice in the water, on very light and easily used equipment, sets you up to be able to go out on your own by the end of the week - even in a strongish wind! ...there are two course durations, either spanning over 3 weekends or one whole week.

Dinghy Courses
A simple and fun way to learn the ropes is by starting in a dinghy. Dinghies are highly technical yet user friendly boats that mean everyone can try exciting new things and gain considerable autonomy in a matter of hours.. Again, the main objective with these courses is to gain practical experience as well as theory in a simple but fun way. We’ve created a formative course that rolls out on three levels, from the beginners course to the course that prepares you for the world of regattas.
Dinghy courses from our sail school take place in Sardegna at the Porto Pollo base.
